What’s an Energy Savings Day?

During periods of high energy usage, BGE may launch an Energy Savings Day to reduce energy demand on our grid. During an Energy Savings Day, BGE will notify customers that they can earn bill credits by reducing their energy use between 2 PM – 6 PM! By voluntarily conserving energy during Energy Savings Days, customers help ensure our communities receive stable and consistent power.
